We were left with a few students this afternoon. Quite a few left with appointments, plus there are still a number of students out with the flu. As a result I did not give homework tonight.
It is getting cold again. Please remember to have your child wear a sweater or jacket.
We did begin a new story today called, The Alvin Alley Kids". We are also working on consonant digraphs and antonyms. We are working with the story to construct the main ideas of the story and then to summarize it.
Tomorrow we will be making the posters for the 2nd grade school supplies drive that goes on next week.
