Monday

Happy Catholic Schools Week!
Today we worked on decorating our door. Pictures are posted on this blog.
Students also made thank you cards for the priests, along with those who work in the Diocesan office downtown.
Tomorrow is crazy sock and shoe day. Mr. Coleo, Mr. Putz, and Mrs. Hepsen will be bringing treats for the students. There will be a hula hoop contest during lunch recess. What a great day it will be!

Language arts students who were absent last week we able to get caught up and work with Mrs. Black today. Students also worked in grammar using have and has for present tense and using had in past tense.

In math students worked in pairs to create multiplication pictures and write a number sentence that matched the pictures. I also posted some pictures of students working in pairs.

In science our rain gauge worked. It recorded over an inch of rain here at Blessed Pope John over the weekend. Finally, we get to record something other than sunshine.
