What a chilly day it was!!! Students stayed inside for morning recess and played in the gym for lunch recess. They ate lunch in the classroom. They will probably do the same tomorrow.
In religion we continuing on our journey through the Sacrament of Penance.
In language we worked on present tense verbs and we reviewed commas in sentences when there is more than three things. Students read a floor plan and answered questions about it. They also worked on comprehension questions about the story. We are continuing Dibels testing this week.
There is a spelling test tomorrow.
In math we worked on ounces and pounds and completed some review questions.
In social studies we read, "Martin's Big Words". We began a discussion about dreams they have, just like Dr. King had a dream.
It's a great time to be working on a weather unit. The thermometer read 45 degrees this morning. We graphed the temperature and what the weather was like.
It is certainly blustery out there!! I am so glad everyone had on a sweater this morning!
