Today we finished up our "How To ..." stories. They should be coming home in a few days. Our new in reading is about a harbor seal that is rescued. Students will be working on story sequencing and in their writing using first, next, then, and last or finally. They will also be working on antonyms and plural nouns, along with consonent blends.
In math today we started subtraction without renaming. They will practice writing the problems vertically and solving them.
The beautiful 2B planter was on display in the courtyard today and I think it will be there the rest of the week. Some lucky person will win this great piece of art at the silent auction Saturday night.
