We finished up listening to all the wonderful book talks. What a great job they all did! The story summaries were excellent. The projects were amazing and very creative.
In religion we are continuing on our exploration of Moses and the Ten Commandments. On Monday we will focus on reading and discussing the Commandments.
In math students practiced story problems and some needed to do some catch-up work. All are now caught up and doing well.
In reading we learned about different kinds of resources to look in for information. Students learned about almanacs, atlases, telephone directories, card catalogs and newspapers. We also discussed what homophones are and what dictionary entries are, along with definitions.
