Conmgratulations to all those who students who have tried IXL.com for math practice. For those who haven't this is a good site for math practice.
I posted a picture of the beautiful 2B planter for the silent auction. Thank you Mrs. Ferrara and Mrs. Longo for coming and creating this mosaic planter with the students. They sure had a great time!
Today we talked about patron saints and who they are and what they do. Many students looked up their saint namesakes or their favorite saint.
In reading students began their Eric Carle pictures using colored tissue paper. They also are working on "How to.." stories. We will be working with contractions and homonyms/homophones.
In math students started lining up addition number sentences and adding without regrouping.
