Thursday

What a busy day we had today! Students worked very quietly during reading centers time. They worked on identifying verbs and nouns. They also worked on word family riddles. Most have finished their page for our class book, Bubbles the Dolphin Finds a Friend. I put their pictures on our bulletin board before I bind it.
Students enjoyed partner reading our main story. They also worked on story sequencing.
They did a great job in music today.
In math we have begun subtraction with 2 and 3 digit numbers without renaming.
For those interested in IXL.com, I have listed the skills we are doing or have covered so far in Singapore Math in the tab on the right side of the blog.
In religion we retold the story of Noah's ark. They made an ark. Ask them to retell the story using the project.
