Today we finished up our story about the harbor seal pup and took the weekly assessment.
We also took the CLOSE test and the weekly dictation test. I am seeing improvement in student spelling in their writing. Tomorrow we begin our story called "A Trip to the Emergency Room".
In religion we took a quiz on Abraham, David and Noah and how they followed God and how He keeps His promises.
In math we started renaming in addition from the one to tens and working with the number problems vertically. Most understand but some need to practice adding the extra ten to their answer and not forget about it.
In social studies we finished up our American History timelines. Hopefully, I can get them back soon.
We will do some review in their workbooks.
Next, we will work on a short technology and how it had changed throughout time.
