Yesterday was very busy as was today. We are starting a new story called "Meet Rosina". It about a girl that is deaf and how she is able to have a regular life. We are working on Main Ideas and Details, along with long I and compound words. Students also work a letter to a new friend telling about themselves and asking the new friend a question or two. They are working on writing using a letter format.
In math we completed a review of Unit 1. Tomorow is a final review, then next week will be begin with addition and subtraction.
In social studies we started a new unit on history. This will work in nicely with our October field trip to Pioneer Village.
