Wednesday

Today we had a visiting priest from Notre Dame High School say the school Mass. He talked about always thanking God for what He has given us.
After Mass, we spent the morning working on subtraction using regrouping. Today students wrote the problems and did the regrouping.
We did go to Adoration in the afternoon.
I introduced the new vocabulary words for the new story called,"A Trip to the Emergency Room". We also talked about hospital workers and we practiced using context words to figure out the meaning of our vocabulary words. We also played a vocabulary game for a review of compound words, antonyms, synonyms, and prefixes and suffixes.

Friday will be a buck-a-jeans and buck-a-colored tennis shoes day along with PRIDE Day.
