There is no homework grid this week because of the long weekend. There will also be no spelling test on Tuesday, October 15. Book talks and Book Orders are due on October 15.
We discussed the Mysteries of the Rosary and I read students a book about Mary. Students also learned that Mary was born without sin. They also learned that she was taken to Heaven both body and soul and was made Queen of Heaven and Earth.
In reading students worked on consonant blends, vocabulary, story sequencing, and we reviewed antonyms.
They also finished up their picture of their tiny seed and they also worked their All About Me powerpoints. Most of them are done. When all of them are done I will post them for you to see.
In math we began subtraction.
In the afternoon, there was a school-side Rosary honoring Mary. Carter, Nicholas, and Iliana did an awesome saying the Hail Mary in front of the school. Great Job!
