Friday

Today is the end of the 2nd quarter. I did go through student folders and sent home papers that we don't need anymore. Most of them were fun papers and do not need to be completed or returned.

Today was a busy day. Students partnered in math to practice regrouping. They did an awesome job peer tutoring. Students also gained greater understanding of the concept and they all learned patience.
Students went to Spanish in the morning.
Using the netbooks, students looked up information on a saint of their choice. Most were able to find some information. We will work on this on Monday. Students will use this information to create a power point about their saint.
Today was also PRIDE Day. The topic was poverty. Students were amazing at being able to relate to those in need and they were able to verbalize how we, at Bl. Pope John XXIII School truly help those in need.

You will be able to view report cards online on Wednesday afternoon.
Remember the Sock Drive begins on Monday.
