Wednesday

Today was backwards day. We had music and PE today, along with Vision and Hearing Screening. We were blessed to have Mrs. Hepsen come in and talk to us about our CARE bully prevention program. Students watched a very cute "We Are Family-A Musical Message for All". This was about including everyone and that we are all part of the world family. She also told our students that the bully prevention theme this year is "inclusion" and how we can include others in our games and playing times.

In language we worked on silent letters and homophones. Students finished final drafts of their All About Me writing. In social studies students were read a book about Columbus and they completed some Columbus Day activities.
In math students played the renaming game using subtraction. They practiced trading tens for ones and then subtracting. They did a great job.

Tomorrow is Mass and we also have art.
