Today we were really busy assessing. Students completed their first spelling test in 2nd grade. This was followed by some dictation. They took a break, then they completed their first Weekly Assessment in language.
Students also switched seats for the month of Sept. In addition, I switch seats on an as needed basis. If you child really is unhappy with their seat, please let me know and I can make a change.
In math, students worked on number patterns and reviewed greater than and less than.
In religion, we discussed the Trinity. Students also had art today.
Tomorrow the 2nd graders will be Mass leaders. They practiced their parts today and an awesome.
