Today students worked on using number bonds for multiplication and division fact families.
They also took a time test. They seem to be improving on these.
In language, students practiced adding words in word families. Then they added suffixes to some of these words. They also practiced contractions. Students also worked on the netbooks in Powerpoint and Word.
In religion, we talked about when Jesus left the desert and was baptized by John the Baptist. Then we discussed the two parables that Jesus told: "The Mustard Seed" and "The Buried Treasure". We also wrote an acrostic poem naming the Apostles. We also talked about how material gifts get smaller and smaller as they are shared and how spiritual gifts grow and grow and never get smaller as they are shared.
Students went to PE and had art today.
