There was some excitement here at St. John XXIII. There was a big leak in the 3rd grade classrooms. The 3rd graders will be displaced until the roof is fixed. Say a prayer for them as they will need to make some transitions as they learn in the rooms at the church.
In religion students worked on the Symbols of the Holy Spirit as the related to Baptism and the other Sacraments. They also worked on the parables Jesus told about the Kingdom of Heaven.
In math, students reviewed multiplication and division.
In language, students were introduced to finding important ideas in a story and the making a summary. They also reviewed digraphs in phonics.
They also make shoes for St. Nicholas Day.
