The Book Talks are wonderful. Students worked so hard on them and their presentations were spot on. They knew the main characters, the problem, the solution, and the setting. These will most likely be quarterly project with the exception of the holidays in the 2nd quarter.
In religion we talked about our favorite saint and how we can stay close to God. We will be starting our saint research and powerpoint this week. Hopefully they will be done by Nov. 1, All Saints Day.
Students went to the library and to PE. Students completed the Weekly Assessment and a CLOZE test, then we listened to Book Talks. We will finish up tomorrow.
The book talks are displayed in the classroom if you would like to come and see them before school.
Book Orders were also due today. I will close out this months order tomorrow.
